Description de la mission

We are seeking a System Integration engineer to contribute to the system integration and testing activities for the next generation vehicle controller and software platform. This new architecture will integrate new and advanced software functions for cloud connectivity and edge processing, thus enabling highly automated driving and advanced connectivity features. The individual should be an experienced engineer in system integration and testing, with strong skills in system-level issue root-causing and having a strong technical background in systems engineering and vehicle architecture development.

The primary focus will be to integrate the system of ECUs on a system bench and ensure that the software running on all ECUs function without issues or vulnerabilities. The process starts with flashing the software of the involved ECUs, and then running a suite of tests that verifies the communication (Ethernet, CAN, and LIN) among multiple ECUs, assess the stability of the software under stress, and run tests that involve verifying diagnostics functions and cybersecurity features. The responsibilities may include setting up and maintenance of system benches to ensure a workable test environment that is also remotely accessible. These activities involve a cycle of testing, analyzing results, and implementing remediation to improve overall security posture.

The job also entails reviewing relevant requirements, developing test cases using Python and CAPL scripting (among others), automating the execution of the test cases on CI pipelines, and analyzing the results. The role demands close alignment and interaction with SW design and architecture teams, in addition to cybersecurity experts.
We are looking for a highly motivated integration engineer who will work side by side with development engineers from the early design phase until system validation. This starts at day one by not only integrating early implementations and requirement models, but challenging design and logical architecture in the earliest phase and with a focus to always strive for a great end-to-end system experience.
We are seeking someone with good expertise at the following levels of the electrical system architecture and its various vehicle network functions and features: design verification, architecture verification, code/script development, system integration, and product validation.

Profil

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering/vehicle network development and industrialization, minimally on a sub-system domain level
• Solid technical knowledge of E/E architecture and vehicle networks, their functions and features, solid understanding of LIN (ISO 17987-1) and CAN (ISO 11898-1) networks
• Basic knowledge of Ethernet network (OA TC8) and SOME/IP protocol
• Good understanding of automotive testing standards for distributed systems (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester)
• Basic knowledge of agile test methods, tools and automation (proven working knowledge with Doors Next Generation, IBM RTC, Jira)
• Experience with in coding (e.g., Python, CAPL, C, C++)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with continuous integration, testing & deployment (Github, Artifactory, Conan, Teamcity)
• Experience testing in multiple development contexts (Linux, AUTOSAR, Android, QNX)
• Experience with model driven test in early development stages (functional mockups, PoC's)
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity mechanisms such as MACSec (IEEE 802.1AE)
• Experience in project execution roles for electrical architecture industrialization on sub-system and/or vehicle level
