Job description
The candidate will interact with all the technical functions inside Control System Department in order to harmonize the internal processes to develop a specific electrified vehicle and will act as reference for the other Propulsion System Service technical areas.
He will dedicate special focus on topics related to Fleet Support, High Voltage system Charging, Interoperability and management of HV Safety, at vehicle level and of related experiments to validate it.
Main Tasks are:
• To coordinate validation activities on Electrified Vehicles
• Produce Design Of Experiment for High Voltage DVP execution
• Execute High Voltage DVP in order to match the functional requirements
• To define test plans, providing facilities and human resources necessary to support the validation
• To participate to trouble shooting activities, producing in time First Level Analysis by means of the specialists of his area
• Execute trouble shoot starting from logging and data collection of fleet vehicles
• To report program status, defining risk assessments, eventual containment actions and necessary countermeasures to eventual troubles on the Electrified Vehicles development
• To support other areas for real components failure analysis
Profile
Basic Qualifications
● Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
● 10+ years of engineering experience
● Proficient user of MS Office Suite and Google suite products.
● Knowledge of battery electric vehicle architectures, operation and networking
● Knowledge of logging and monitoring strategies and solutions.
● Capability to execute the EOL process while troubleshooting issues
● Capability to deal with Norms definition and validation
● Comfortable working rapidly and independently
● Good organization with capability to manage multiple projects at one time.
● Team player with solid interpersonal skills, comfortable in working in a multi-cultural matrix organization.
● Professional communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written).
● Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing)
● PES / PAV Training for High Voltage
● Availability to business trips.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree or equivalent experience
• Matlab\Simulink knowledge, and Hardware In the Loop environments
• Knowledge of Data Visualization Tools
• Functional programming with Scala
Extensive knowledge and hands on use of INCA, CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other Electrical root cause tools
