ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Supplier & Commodity Value Optimization (VO) Leader to join the Purchasing Enlarged Europe organization and play a key role in driving cost optimization and value creation across serial production life.
In this position, you will work at the intersection of Purchasing, Engineering, and Suppliers, leading value optimization initiatives that translate technical ideas into measurable and sustainable savings.
You will act as a key reference for a portfolio of strategic suppliers, contributing directly to Stellantis' performance through structured VO governance and cross functional collaboration.
This role is open to both experienced professionals and people leaders, depending on background and scope.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Act as Purchasing representative and leader within multiple cross functional Value Optimization (VO) groups
• Drive the transformation of VO ideas into concrete savings, in collaboration with Engineering and Suppliers
• Lead and coordinate Value Optimization activities for a portfolio of top strategic suppliers
• Assess VO opportunities and risks together with Engineering teams and define priorities and action plans
• Support the generation of new cost saving ideas with suppliers, across technical, logistics, and industrial domains
• Monitor and steer supplier VO performance using clear KPIs and structured governance
• Manage supplier escalation processes, ensuring timely issue resolution and alignment
• Contribute to the overall Purchasing performance and competitiveness of the Enlarged Europe perimeter
KEY STAKEHOLDERS
You will work closely with:
• Purchasing teams (Buyers, Purchasing Managers, Program teams)
• Engineering and Value Engineering teams
• Plants and industrial teams
• Strategic suppliers and external partners
Profile
• Experience in Purchasing, Supplier Management, Value Engineering, Cost Optimization, SQD or Program roles
• Exposure to automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
• Ability to work in cross functional and international contexts
• Strong understanding of supplier ecosystems and purchasing processes
• Ability to translate technical ideas into business value and savings
• Structured mindset, with strong prioritization and escalation management skills
• Comfortable working with KPIs and performance tracking
• Fluent English required (additional languages are a plus)
• Collaborative and credible in cross functional environments
• Comfortable influencing without direct hierarchical authority
• Results oriented, pragmatic, and able to handle complexity
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
