As Pre-Owned Brand Controller, you will be working within the country financial controlling team of the Netherlands NSC (National Sales Company); you will be reporting to the Senior Brand and B2B Controller and be accountable for the accurate delivery of the financial data for the Pre-Owned Car Business (Previously Owned Cars or Used Cars) in the Netherlands.

You will closely work with the following stakeholders:
• Direct report to the Senior Brand and B2B Controller.
• Close collaboration with Pre-Owned Department.
• Close collaboration with the other Brand controllers of the NSC.
• Close work with the Finance HQ.

As Pre-Owned Brand Controller, your main responsibilities will be:
- Participate in the recurring activities of management control: monitoring activity management indicators, working on result trends, budget construction,

- Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including explanations of achieved/forecasted results and its calculations,

- Assist in the preparation and control of various provisions and the analysis of variances,

- Participate in various cross-functional projects: developing automated analysis tools to improve the efficiency of recurring operations, conducting ad-hoc studies to contribute to performance management.

Profile

You have a Master's degree in either Economics, Finance with a minimum of two years of experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor,

You have a strong team spirit and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, which will allow you to integrate quickly within our team,

You are known for your ability to manage multiple projects alongside regular deadlines,

Planning, coordinating and stakeholder management are your middle names,

You also have a fair understanding of complex technical accounting matters is a bonus.

You master Excels and are used to work with various systems,

You are fluent in English, the master of the Dutch language will be a plus.

You are curious and have a strong desire to learn and grow within the role.

This position is starting first with a fixed term contract of 1 year. The role is based in Amsterdam with the possibility of working remotely 3 days per week.
