Description de la mission
In the context of the global construction department team (FIBE), the candidate will discuss with project leaders and all region plants to understand the foreseen scope of works and evaluate the impacts on fire protection for building and infrastructure in accordance with the local regulations and Stellantis insurer requirements. The candidate will act as main contact for designing, planning, and implementing fire suppression systems in our facilities worldwide. This role requires a deep understanding of fire protection engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the safety and compliance of our buildings and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop fire suppression system concepts for various types of facilities.
Ensure compliance with internal Stellantis insurer requirements in addition to local, national, and international fire safety regulations.
Review fire protection execution design from external engineers and installation companies.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
Provide technical support and guidance during the installation of fire protection systems.
Interact with various region project teams to get the input data to provide technical answers.
Coordinate and cooperate with the Stellantis Risk Management department and its insurers.
Develop best practices for fire protection solutions to optimize the cost impact on projects.
Support the cost estimation team to update the cost database for fire protection.
Create and maintain fire protection standards for your department.
Regular interaction with the global team to explain the up-to-date fire safety requirements.
Support risk assessments and fire safety audits.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in fire protection technology and best practices.
Profil
Qualification & Skills:
Practical experience in industrial projects. Preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and standards (NFPA, FM Global, etc.).
Proficiency in fire protection system design software would be beneficial.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
Second language skills in French or Italian are beneficial
Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
