Job Summary:



We are looking for experienced demand / supply planners, combining strong operational execution skills and strategic vision for our Supply Chain spare parts activity. The ideal candidate, in addition to the planning of some specific product lines, should be able to take the lead on some transverse processes and challenge them to introduce breakthroughs in our operations. You will possess a keen ability to analyse customer demand to develop and fine tune forecasts. The Demand Planner's responsibilities include reviewing purchase history, sales history, marketing promotion products and stimulate growth or pick and, ultimately, evaluating their effectiveness and challenge data and processes.

You will contribute establishing a demand driven and collaborative planning with our customers, exploiting our Distributors' sell-out data. Highly analytical you demonstrate deep knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies, as well as a good end-to-end knowledge of the Supply Chain activities.

In addition, strong communication and stakeholder engagement are critical to success in this role, which includes the ability to effectively partner and collaborate with those leading and working on the commercial side of the business i.e. sales, marketing and related.





Key Responsibilities:


- Analyse and question the results of forecast calculated by the statistical model implements solutions to improve the accuracy of demand forecasting.

- Meet with other functional area managers as Sales, Marketing, Customers, Finance and Supply Chain operations (e.g. Warehouse, transport…) to review strategies related to both short- and long-term planning.

- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to the involved stakeholders (e.g. warehouse, transportation, supply planning, supplier relationship management, ….).

- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies comparing statistical forecast with real demand summed with the commercial campaigns.

- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Assist in developing annual budgets.

- Schedule regular demand review meetings with management and other stakeholders involved in the process.

- Work with team members to plan, coordinate, and execute demand planning activities.

- Coordinate with inventory management team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels.

- Maintain training materials and organize trainings to team members.

Profile

- Strong commercial and financial awareness, understanding the impact of failures on costs (e.g., excess stock, warehouse space) and customer order fulfillment.

- Deep knowledge of supply chain processes at regional and global levels, including purchasing, logistics, demand planning, statistical forecasting, and inventory management.

- Proficiency in ERP systems, data analysis, report development, and Microsoft Office tools.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage teams and maintain strong business relationships.

- Analytical mindset with expertise in forecasting and problem-solving, ensuring a structured yet agile approach.

- Resilient and results-driven, capable of managing conflicts and working effectively under pressure.

- Fluent in English, with the ability to independently manage meetings and reports; knowledge of an additional European language (ideally Italian or French) is a plus.

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supply planning management within manufacturing or retail industries (e.g., FMCG, industrial products, automotive).
