Description de la mission
For Technical Program Manager (TPM) we seek people with excellent program management skills, strong technical expertise, and hands-on project management skills. As a Technical Program Management, you will set up processes and mechanisms to drive Stellantis' transformation from today's dedicated electronic architectures to a software-defined platform seamlessly integrating with customers' digital lives. The TPM plays a pivotal role in driving the product development cycle in partnership with multidisciplinary teams. They work closely with a diverse group of professionals, including Solution Architects, Program Managers, Product Managers, and Engineers. You will spearhead the coordination of design and implementation efforts, fostering collaboration across diverse teams for optimal solutions. In this role, you will proactively identify potential bottlenecks, offer effective escalation management, make informed trade-offs, and harmonize business requirements with technical constraints. You will dive deep to solve highly technical and complex strategic problems, get involved in design and architectural decision-making, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve the design and architecture. Collaboration is a key part of this role, both within the team and with partner teams across the organization.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own planning and delivery of software built in software organization.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market.
• Drive architecture, engineering, and integration decisions and timelines across multiple teams and organizations.
• Establish business processes and policies, as well as metrics and indicators for success.
• Develop, report, and continually improve business performance metrics.
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
• Work successfully with customers, leaders, and other engineering teams. You foster constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues.
Profil
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
