Job description

In advanced project, Project or serial, manages the supply of
Propulsions System Prototypes and Pre-serial respecting timing, cost, quality and configuration commitments validated by the PRS execution team. Guarantees Manufacturing Bill of Material creation/update, pre-serial parts procurement, scheduling of part's changes and the transfer of the procurement from the engineering to the manufacturing.

Profile

Main activities:
• Determine the physical means cost per stage and the yearly scheduling of the prototype budget of his/her own powertrain's project
• Manage the costing of the prototypes and pre-serial physical means requested by all the customers
• Realize the synthesis of actuals and forecasts regarding yearly prototype expenses supporting the cost manager in the prototype budget monitoring
• Guarantee the census of physical means needed by all customers and then, the scheduling of physical means accordingly to project's timing, prototype / pilot workshop or plant‘s capacity
• Pilot the scheduling of the production in mechanical plant accordingly to vehicles plants needs until Propulsion system Start of Production (PSOP)
• Guarantee the creation and update of prototype Bill of Material of each physical mean whatever the stage
• Guarantee the creation and update of Manufacturing Bill of Material for the propulsion system produced in the mechanical plant
• Guarantee the pre-serial parts procurement, logistics and part's changes scheduling until parts procurement transfer to serial logistic team from the plant
• Coordinate operationally a team : Prototype planning Pilot, Prototype BOM & Coordination Pilot, the ‘Manufacturing Bill Of Material, procurement and sequencing pilot', pilot from the prototype build team and animate their deliverables.
• Report weekly a synthesis with risks/blocking points/escalations/actions plan to the project execution team and his/her management
• Strong support in the validation plan execution thanks to delivery of physical means
• Contributes to the control of prototypes budget by implementing plans optimizations and monitoring the prototypes expenses
• Ensure connection with Purchase team during prototypes and pre-serial stages for parts procurement and with all the stakeholders (supply chain, manufacturing, quality…) for the parts transfer to the plant
Requirements:
• Advance in written and spoken English
• High School or Master's degree in technical disciplines like mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related engineering discipline
• Experience in Propulsion Systems and Vehicle technologies.
• High-level communication skills and ability to easily operate in an international, multicultural environment
• Ability to proactively self-organize and to organize Team's activities setting short term targets, prioritizing and recognizing issues
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to rapidly react in a changing environment.
• Strong result oriented approach
