Stellantis's Software Organization (SWx) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology.

As part of that foundation, we are seeking passionate and conscientious Cloud Virtualization Expert designing and implementing virtual ECUs native to cloud-based systems. His/her primary focus is around development of virtualization technologies, methodologies and cloud platforms to ensure efficient and secure operations.
The virtual ECUs will be integrated to the virtual test platforms (xIL) for the next generation vehicle controller testing in different domains (ADAS/ AD, Energy, E-powertrain and Body, Cockpit and Connected services).
A Cloud Virtualization expert requires a strong understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Xen, along with expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. He/she should be adept at networking, storage, and security concepts in the context of virtualized and cloud environments. This role often demands problem-solving skills, adaptability to new technologies, and the ability to work collaboratively in dynamic settings to drive innovation and efficiency.
The role also requires closely working with SW architects, SW development teams and suppliers who deliver embedded SW artifacts.

Position Requirements:
You will be part of a global SW driven engineering organization with a modern state of the art agile culture. If you have a proactive quality mindset and a test from day one attitude, you will be the right candidate. We are looking for highly motivated Cloud Virtualization Expert to work side by side with SW architecture, SW development engineers within agile teams from the early design phase until validation. This new way of testing starts at day one by not only testing implementations and requirements but challenging design and logical architecture in the earliest phase driven by a test first/test right now mentality!


Beside this proactive test first/test right now, mindset we seek for good knowledge on the following:

● MBSE
● MBD
● Virtual and Soft ECU
● Software verification and validation methods
In addition, you have the opportunity to set new benchmarks in terms of virtualization technologies, troubleshooting/ root causing/ resolving issues, automation and methodology by advancing CI/CD mindset on all abstraction levels starting with continuous design verification down to continuous testing and deployment in highly virtualized environments. You will be part of an interdisciplinary agile team designing and applying agile methods for new and advanced features including ADAS and EV systems

Profil

Qualifications:
● Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related Engineering degree from an accredited university
● Knowledge of Compute and Network Services, Containers, Storage, IAM, Security
● Strong understanding of Linux and hands on experience in Python for automation
● 4 years of experience developing cloud technology and applications
● Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methods
● Good understanding of embedded software development (C, C++), AUTOSAR software architecture, auto code generation process and tools and experience with software such as Visual Basic, Python, VBnet
● Ability to troubleshoot and fix platform issues and systems focused
● Good understanding of ECU architecture and usage of SW emulators and/ or SW debuggers
● Experience in one scripting language or test automation tool

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience testing in multiple development contexts (Linux, AUTOSAR, Android)
● Experience with ADAS, Ethernet interfaces and modules
● Experience with virtualization, cosimulation and system integration
