Job description

She/he will prepare the financial statements of various French companies, according to the country's standards as well as the financial statements in Group standards (IFRS), by guaranteeing the reliability and quality of the information, respecting deadlines and accounting, legal and tax standards.

The candidate must acquire a good knowledge of the organization and activity of the Partner Departments within the Group, (Management Control, consolidation, accounting services in SSC ...) and ensure good relational coordination.
The Stellantis group is undergoing a major transformation in the finance function with impacts on accounting processes.
The candidate will have to carry out his function largely remotely (3 to 4 days of remote work) and in an agile environment.


MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Supervise the RTR accounting of companies, including some flows processed by the Group's shared services centers (SSCs). In this case, you will have to monitor the compliance of processes and accounting schemes with French standards, in coordination with the head of the SSC.
• Monitor monthly closings according with the Group calendar and guarantee the compliance with local and Group standards.
• Ensure and supervise the accounts ‘reconciliation.
• Support and coordinate the external Auditors' mission.
• Perform analytical reviews on specific P/L accounts,
• Contribute, in liaison with the Tax Department, to the timely preparation of tax returns.
• Plan and organize the activity of the team under his/her responsibility (about 10 people).
• Contribute to the Group's convergence projects (mergers, new accounting systems, etc.)
• Define and/or execute the internal accounting policies and procedures to obtain the quality levels required by the Group, in particular the SOX standard.

Profile

The candidate has a minimum of 5 to 8 years' experience in accounting in a multinational environment or in an audit and/or accounting firm, preferably in the industrial field.
The candidate is proficient in French accounting standards.
He has experience in IFRS and SOX.


EDUCATION

Bac + 5 Finance / Accounting
Accounting Experience in RTR (Record to Report) processes
Knowledge of internal control
Knowledge of French standards and IFRS
Experience in SOX controls

IT TOOLS
• Good knowledge of Microsoft standard tools (excel…)
• Knowledge of SAP is a “nice to have”
