Job description

Within the framework of vehicle integration, durability and functional testing activities, including Professional and Employee Captive Fleets, conducted on proving grounds and public roads worldwide, the Vehicle Testing Operations Manager independently leads the preparation, planning, execution and monitoring of all vehicle development testing and captive fleet operations associated with a specific vehicle program/project or technical perimeter (vehicle usability, propulsion systems, electrified vehicles, ADAS safety systems, etc.).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and coordinate the overall vehicle testing program, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and stakeholder management.
Supervise testing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of validation and endurance testing activities.
Drive defect management by validating issues, leading root-cause investigations, tracking resolutions, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor testing performance through KPIs, operational governance, and milestone readiness reviews.
Consolidate and communicate project status, quality indicators, and testing results to stakeholders.
Promote continuous improvement by enhancing testing standards, integrating lessons learned, and preparing for future regulatory and technological requirements.
Ensure operational continuity, safety, data integrity, and effective coordination with suppliers and technical teams in a 24/7 environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure the protection of people, assets, and data.
Authorize the launch, suspension, restart, and termination of vehicle endurance testing activities.
Provide operational leadership and manage relationships with external partners and suppliers.
Coordinate resources and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Guarantee the quality, accuracy, and completeness of all project deliverables.
Ensure compliant data availability to support Vehicle Safety, Vehicle Quality, and GDPR requirements.
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practices.
Prepare testing activities and standards for future regulatory and technological requirements.

The role combines testing program leadership, operational management, defect resolution, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to ensure vehicle validation activities are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education: Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Technical Expertise:
· Automotive engineering (mechanical and electrical/electronic systems).
· Vehicle development and testing methodologies.
· Connected services, infotainment, ADAS and electrification technologies.
· Vehicle functional architecture knowledge.
· Defect assessment accreditation in accordance with Stellantis Quality standards.
· High-Speed Driving certification.
Professional Skills:
· Supplier and outsourcing management.
· Operational leadership.
· Negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
· Data analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
· Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, PLM, TITAN and quality systems.
· Test planning, scheduling and operational optimization.

·Executive reporting and synthesis communication.
Languages:
Fluent English with the ability to lead meetings and provide reporting in an
international environment.
