Description de la mission

Scope:
As a Powertrain Purchasing Buyer, you will be instrumental in sourcing and procuring advanced power semiconductors that are vital for our powertrain and energy conversion applications. In this impactful role, you will work closely with Suppliers, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Cost Engineering, Quality and other functions to support Stellantis' electrification strategy. Knowledge of the semiconductor market and powertrain technologies is essential in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, directly supporting our future production and development goals.

• Contribute to the advancement of Electric Vehicles and sustainable transportation.
• Collaborate with a global team of experts dedicated to innovation and excellence.
• Influence strategic sourcing decisions that drive efficiency and performance.

Activity:
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and cultivate strong relationships with suppliers of power semiconductor components for powertrain and energy conversion systems, ensuring reliability and long-term partnerships.
• Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value and quality for Stellantis.
• Procurement: Execute purchase orders and manage inventory levels to meet production schedules and project timelines efficiently.
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies in the semiconductor and powertrain sectors.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all procured materials meet stringent standards and specifications.
• Cost Management: Monitor and report on purchase price variances and develop strategies to reduce costs while maintaining high quality.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier reliability, delivery schedules, and market conditions, ensuring continuity and minimizing disruptions.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, production, and operations teams to align procurement activities with project requirements and company objectives, fostering a cohesive and efficient workflow.

Profil

Required knowledge:
• English language proficiency (C1 level)
• Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge in powertrain technologies and applications.



Skills:
• Ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in cost analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software (e.g., Oracle MRP).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, and results driven.
• Ability to work in autonomy.
• SAP & Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
