The Stellantis Cell Modules & Pack organization (PCMP) is the team that owns one of the main aspects of the Stellantis electrification strategy.
PCMP scope covers the entire cycle of our Batteries, from their concept phase, up to the launch on the market and to the remanufacturing within our Circular Economy hubs. Therefore, the selected ACE will support the Chief Engineering team to:

-Select the best tradeoff of technologies (including Cells chemistry, Battery Management Systems, Pack structure and Pack layout)
-Define the best targets in terms of Functional Objectives, Costs, Investments, Development Timing
-Lead the execution team to achieve the Program Targets
-Report to the Management about Project progress, risks and opportunities

In particular the selected ACE will
•Manage the Technical Departments (Design, Control Systems, Testing e Cost Engineering) to reach the Project targets ensuring the engagement of the relevant Technical Roles in all key technical decision points
•Call and direct periodic Technical Meetings to establish correct flow of information and priorities to the Technical Departments providing the overall Engineering view and the coordinated inputs
•Responsible to deliver the technical specifications, in coordination with the Engineering Departments, ensuring the trade-off between Product Specifications and Customer requests considering Time and Costs
•Responsible to deliver the technical recommendations, to identify issues and to provide issue information (root cause analysis and mitigation plan) resulting from the Engineering activities (Design, Testing, ..) to the Management Review Forums, by arranging the proper documentation
•Coordinate the Bill of Material/Configuration Management (including change requests) through the Project Duration in collaboration with the Propulsion System Family Manager, the Engineering Departments involved, Suppliers and STLA Manufacturing.
•Monitor the spending in relation to the budget, both Engineering/Design effort Costs and Industrial Costs
•Coordinate the Engineering Cost evaluation when requested for budgeting reasons or for extra Engineering spending requests, in coordination with the other Technical Departments
•Define the Engineering development Plan collecting the macro and micro-planning activities from the involved Technical Departments
•Promote the benchmarking analysis of Competitors solutions ensuring the delivered product design aligns or exceeds the State of the Art in the industry

Profile

•Fluent in written and spoken English
•Master Degree in Engineering or Physics
•Knowledge/interest in electric vehicles technologies, transportation energy transition and related trends
•Good communication skills and ability to easily operate in an international, multicultural environment
•Ability to proactively self-organize and to organize Team's activities setting short term targets, prioritizing and recognizing issues
•Problem-solving skills and a knowledge of Project Management
•Ability to rapidly react in a changing technical and planning environment
•Strong target/result oriented approach
•Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad
•Previous experience in similar Technical-Management Engineering roles preferred (not mandatory)
