Job description

MISSION

We are looking for a Junior Supplier Cost Analyst to join and support our EE Purchasing Cost Management team.

In this role, you will contribute to supplier cost analysis activities, participate in cost audits and support Total Part Cost (TPC) improvement initiatives, working closely with experienced colleagues, Commodity Buyers and Engineering teams.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional who wants to build strong expertise in cost management, manufacturing processes and supplier economics within an international automotive environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

With the support and guidance of senior team members, you will:

• Support the preparation and execution of supplier cost audits for assigned commodity scopes.
• Collect and analyze supplier cost data and documentation in collaboration with Buyers and Cost Engineers.
• Contribute to the development of Price Breakdowns (PBD) and cost models based on validated inputs.
• Assist in identifying cost optimization opportunities through data analysis and benchmarking.
• Support buyers during negotiations by providing fact-based cost insights.
• Participate in the definition and follow-up of TPC improvement action plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Engineering, Finance) to ensure alignment and data consistency.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, lessons learned and continuous improvement of cost management methodologies.

This role offers strong exposure to different functions and stakeholders across the organization.

Profile

We are looking for a junior professional with strong analytical potential, eager to grow in cost management and purchasing, with:

• 2–4 years of experience in cost engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, manufacturing, supplier analysis or similar roles (automotive experience is a plus).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial cost drivers.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in data-driven decision making.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English;
• Good communication skills and willingness to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Availability to travel to supplier plants as part of the learning path.
