As Technical & Warranty Manager, you're a member of the Aftersales department of Stellantis Nederland B.V.
This role is pivotal in safeguarding product quality, optimising warranty performance, and driving technical solutions that support safety standards and customer satisfaction. Within this position, you will report to Aftersales Director and will manage a team of 9 people, including warranty specialists and technical field delegates.
The role is located in the office of Amsterdam and offering a hybrid working environment (minimum 2 days at the office, 3 days home office).
Your contribution :
- Manage and develop the technical team (6 members) and the warranty team (3 members), fostering collaboration and performance,
- Responsible for the warranty budget,
- Monitor and improve technical and warranty processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancement,
- Solve blocking points for the operations in the team provide guidance to ensure smooth day-to-day activities,
- Be the “voice” between headquarters (HQ) and the local team, ensuring clear communication and alignment on technical and warranty matters.
- Manage financial aspects related to technical and warranty operations, including budget planning and control,
- Coordinate supplier-related activities, including creating purchase requests (PR) and managing relationships,
- Coordinate the special tools and equipment needed with the technical team,
- Develop and distribute technical bulletins to keep the dealer network informed of updates and best practices,
- Represent technical and warranty topics in dealer council meetings.
Profile
What makes you a great fit:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree within the automotive technical field.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in the automotive sector, including managing a team.
- Strong workshop and aftersales experience, with a solid understanding of technical operations.
- Fluency in Dutch and strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while fostering effective teamwork.
- A keen sense of analysis, adaptability, and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
