JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Director of Data Governance and Privacy, this role is part of a team dedicated to supporting Mobilisights' operations globally. We are seeking an experienced Data Governance & Privacy Lead with a mix of technical and legal skills to support our operations and maintain internal compliance. This role will also collaborate with the Stellantis data protection team.

MAIN ACTIVITIES
Main responsibilities:
•Design and implement a compliance program aligned with applicable regulations and industry standards, supporting certification efforts in data protection and security.
•Maintain and manage the record of processing activities (ROPA), ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
•Handle internal data breach management, assess risks, coordinate mitigation efforts, and prepare reports for internal and customer accountability.
•Monitor global regulatory developments in data protection, data sharing, and AI, developing training materials and guidance for customer-facing teams.
•Manage pre- and post-sales customer audits, ensuring compliance with consent management and legal grounds for processing Mobilisights data.
•Support technical and product teams in data discovery initiatives and conduct feasibility assessments from a data protection and governance perspective.

Profile

REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
•3/5+ years of overall data governance and / or protection experience, including prior experience working at a reputable international technology-oriented global company.
•Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, technical and management skills.
•Ability to meet deadlines and manage simultaneous contract negotiations in a fast-paced environment.
•Broad experience on privacy enhancing technology, anonymization and risk management techniques
•Experience, knowledge, skill and competency to advise and support the business.
•Technology industry focus, preferably within high-paced SaaS/DaaS businesses.
•A bias for action and willingness to work through a fair amount of ambiguity and rapidly evolving business internal and external business dynamics.
•Preference and experience in early stage, start-up environments is highly desirable.
•Strong team player and ability to work well independently.
•Knowledge of both Italian and pan-European legal landscape.

•MS or equivalent degree
•Must be fluent and able to conduct business in English. Business proficiency in other languages is highly desirable, including French and German.
