The right candidate is adept at writing technical specifications, managing software reliability engineers (SRE) and technical program managers, owning program schedules from design to release, partnering effectively across organizations, within and outside of Mobilisights, and managing significant, complex launches. You will enable transparency and decision-making across Mobilisights leadership by providing critical communication and clear status of the initiatives you owe
As a head of TPM, you will build and lead a diverse team of technical program managers and SREs to execute on Mobilisights data platform with highest level of operational excellence. If this sounds like you, we'd like to speak with you. A successful candidate has a strong passion for customers and developers and experience presenting platform strategies. Ideally, you have a background that spans solutions integration, software development, and product management. You must be highly analytical, work effectively across multiple organizations, and be adept at synthesizing various technologies and capabilities into high-quality, simple products and applications that developers and customers love
Key Responsibilities
Own planning and delivery of data platform and data products
Own release management process and tooling
Own SRE functions of preventative and detective controls on alerts, monitoring and reporting
Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market
Drive architecture, engineering and integration decisions, and timelines across multiple teams and organizations
Establish business processes and policies, as well as metrics and indicators for success
Develop, report, and continually improve business performance and operational metrics
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
Establish structures that enable your team to solve complex problems and deliver large systems
Work successfully with customers, leaders, and other engineering teams. You foster constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues
Build an organization that strives for operational excellence
Manage team priorities, headcount projections, recruiting, and continuous performance
You successfully hire, develop and promote
