Job description

Within the Powertrain Engineering Division, the Powertrain Energy Storage and Supply team is committed to designing the battery packs of Groupe PSA and developing some top engineers.

We are and you will be expected to challenge and to be challenged, to create and to innovate to allow Groupe PSA to achieve its electric transition. These jobs are not for everyone.

As the leader of the module design and development for one of our future projects, you will:
- Complete design cycles from concepts to fully validated production designs in order to fulfill the requirements defined at the battery pack level
- Achieve the Quality/Cost/Timing/Performances targets given by the project
- Collaborate closely with suppliers to develop parts
- Develop the core technology of Groupe PSA, make design improvements based on the lessons learned of our step1 vehicles, and push our technology further for the next generation vehicles


This job within the Battery Team requires a drive to make your designs successful and some strong engineering skills:
- MS/PhD in mechanical, electrical or electrochemistry engineering
- demonstrated successful experience in mechanical engineering from concept through production release
- detail oriented personality with solid documentation and reporting skills
- CAD modeling and simulation skills are a plus
- English language: TOIEC higher than 750pts or BRIGHT test higher than 3.0pts

Our Battery Team collaborates closely with other departments, requiring a team player mentality but also each individual to be disciplined, enthusiast, inspiring and self-motivated.

You must have a genuine passion for engineering the best (cost, quality, safety, performance) electric vehicles in the world and you will work on perhaps the most exciting automotive programs in existence today.

Some regular business trips in Europe and in Asia are expected.
