Job title

Ergonomist parking assistance HMI

Permanent contract

Job description

User eXperience Cockpit Team brings together the multidisciplinary teams designing and developing the user experience of Peugeot, Citroën and DS brands through the cockpits of their vehicles.

The user experience encompasses all aspects of the user's interactions with the company, its services and products, and offers new ways to meet customer needs with efficiency, ease and style that make use and possession of a product a daily pleasure.

This is not to give customers what they say they want or to provide a list of features, it is to anticipate future needs, to script them, to design and develop these new uses and their HMIs, in a situation of multiple and transcultural mobility. To achieve a user experience with excellent operational efficiency, technology, digital, service, design, product, its interactions and interfaces must be synthesized in a coherent way from the user point of view.

Above all, UXCT likes people who are observant, curious, open, creative, enthusiastic, very attentive to the evolution of their profession and the maintenance of their skills. We hope that our new cognitive ergonomist will design and evaluate the HMIs for future driving assistance functions and more particularly for parking assistance.

He will have, through his initial ergonomics training and his professional experience, acquired an excellent proficiency of the design and evaluation of interface usability, animation and analysis of UX tests. We imagine him not only sensitive to the human sciences but also to new automotive and technological interactions related to autonomous driving. He will enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with other experts from all UXCT professions, in workshops and in field observation.

He will evolve in our new offices with all UXCT teams at ADN, historic building of automotive design, located in the technical center of Vélizy Villacoublay. Immersed in the heart of France's largest UX competence platform, our ergonomist will take part in all stages of HMI design and development of on-board driving assistance functions on the vehicles of tomorrow. Regular trips to Germany (Rüsselsheim) are expected.

Activities related to the position
• Definition of a design repository in ergonomics of parking assistance
• Foresight vision including competitor analysis, design rules and innovations
• Writing of functional requirements translating the customer's need into cognitive and physical ergonomics
• Lead construction and implementation of all the ergonomics activities necessary for the development of parking assistance

Master Degree in ergonomics / UX, you master design and evaluation of the usability of interfaces, animation and analysis of UX tests. You are sensitive to the human sciences but also to new automotive and technological interactions

You are recognized for:
- your ability to listen and take a step back to work in collaboration with the technical specialists or designers of the field,
-your analytical and synthesis capabilities that allow you to study and explore as many concepts as needed.
