Job description

The quality and engineering direction (DQI) prepares the next generation of the upper level vehicles of Groupe PSA. Inside the DQI, the EE direction develops the functions that will allow gradually delegating the driving to the vehicle itself, up to the autonomous vehicle.
The electronic parts implemented by the ADAS(1) department for the new generations of vehicles are radars, lidars, cameras, ultrasonic systems, and centralized supervision calculator. To reinforce the team, Groupe PSA recruits a leader for the design and the development of the ADAS electronic part.

The designer is leading the multi-disciplinary team for the development from the design to the industrialization in the plant, negotiating the chose for the design and reported to the project.

The main deliverables are the followings:

- Contribute to the mechanical, electrical and electronic implementation of Modules in vehicles
- Operating consultant: resolve technical issues, approve proposal of suppliers and responsible for technical reviews of his field. Decision support
- Identify / control the supplier's validation plan, and participate if necessary in the performance of the tests at the supplier or internally, contributing to the demonstration of the maintenance of the requirements.
- Analyze and treat technical facts in development and mass production life.
- Ensure assistance and valuation nearby projects, according to waited reactivity by the Group
- Guarantee the treatment reactivity of non-qualities detected on parts or modules in mass production life and submit schedule of modifications according to technical policies and the wanted deadlines.
- Ensures reporting to his hierarchy and client projects of his activities
- Ensures the transversality of the part accordingly with the guidelines defined by the perimeter technical policy
- Contributes to the return of business experience, by managing and appoving lessons learn. Capitalizing on best practices.
- Contributes to the evaluation of suppliers or emerging technologies
- Participates in the development of technical policy for his family of parts
- Contribute to the portfolio of opportunities oriented cost, quality, diversity of his family of parts and participates in the implementation of actions

Profile

Profile:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment for electronics developments
• Good knowledge in the Radar technologies
• Fluent in english (TOEIC minimum 750, BRIGHT minimum 3.5)
